Brazilian Bikini Waxing - Hear the Real Story

Brazilian Bikini Waxing - Hear the Real Story

Well although Brazilians have the fame for it, history has it that the real origin is the Middle East. Brides would prepare them selves for their honeymoons by removing all pubic hair for their husbands to be on their special wedding night. Waxing in Brazil has been a long time practice but the Brazilian Bikini is more for hygiene and aesthetic purposes rather than sex in my opinion. Brazil is known for its beautiful beaches and yes it's very tiny bikinis. In order to wear such small sized bikinis, no one wants to show off a buz especially down there. So women get waxing done enough in the inner thigh area ( bikini lines) so that no hair be seen while they are lying on one of Brazil's many sunny beaches. So this also includes the back area known as the buttocks (haha). Think about it for a minute, if you had to wear one of those bikinis publicly, would any hair be sticking out? If your answer is yes, then you would need a Bikini Waxing- lol. Guess what though? In Brazil, most women do not go all the way and it wax it all off- ouch sounds painful. In Brazil it is done for a clean, fresh hygiene look now in a America it has taken a whole different outlook.

Swimsuit Bikinis For Pregnant Women - Should You Show Your Bump Or Hide It?

Swimsuit Bikinis For Pregnant Women - Should You Show Your Bump Or Hide It?

During swimsuit and bikini season, it used to be that some pregnant women would wear one-piece suits to cover their bump, and sometimes other women would choose a loose and flowing top that resembled a cape with straps. Each suit was designed to hide the pregnant woman's tummy. But all that has changed now in the world of maternity fashions which reflects women's preferences for swimwear apparel.
Perhaps the bikini trend for pregnant women started in Hollywood when famous actresses wanted everyone to see their baby bump, rather than hide their growing bodies under yards and yards of fabric.
Nevertheless, regardless of the season or location, pregnant women around the world are proudly showing off their tummies in public when they choose to wear bikinis. This new trend is also noticeable in everyday clothing, since many women just put on their designer elastic-waist sweat pants with a halter top or long clinging T-shirt.

Brief History of Brazilian Bikinis

Brief History of Brazilian Bikinis

Historians trace the origins of bikinis back in the Roman Empire. The modern version of the two-piece swimsuit was introduced in Paris centuries later in the middle of the 1940s. Louis Reard, the designer, initially had problems how his creation would be accepted by the general public. Even models at the time refused to wear the outfit on the fashion show stage.
The Brazilian bikini was publicly showcased beginning July 5, 1945. The name of the clothing for swimming was obviously taken from the Pacific atoll of Bikini. The islands were the location of the atomic bombs testings of the United States. Another Frenchman had his own bikini creation named "The Atome." Jacques Heim was the Frenchman designer.
Micheline Bernardini, who was a nude dancer in Casino de Paris, was the only model who had the courage to wear the Brazilian bikini type clothing. And this caught the attention of the world. In many countries, women got attracted to the new craze in swimsuits. Debates arose from different sectors. Spain, Portugal and Italy, all Catholic countries, prohibited women from wearing these skimpy bathing suits. Hollywood was pressured to prohibit actresses to wear the Brazilian bikini in movies.
